About Us

About The Teen Expo

The Teen Expo was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 2021.  It is a teen equity and inclusion program sparked from the hearts and conversations of community members who wanted to facilitate meaningful and lasting change.
We are an active response to the lack of diversified training and opportunities in urban communities across the United States. Our approach is to challenge the broken systems and inequitable policies that maintain division and generational cycles of poverty that plague communities of color.
Our children are our future, and we are here to be the change we want to see in the world! We achieve this objective by acknowledging community needs and facilitating life-changing mentorship opportunities by connecting underserved teens with innovators, activists, community leaders, business owners, and organizations from across the nation.
Experience yields opportunity. Our teen equity and inclusion program accelerates social mobility, facilitates community change, and sets the foundation for creating generational wealth.
Our online database connects teenagers with access to opportunities for mentorship, personal and professional development, leadership courses, career training courses, camps, paid, and volunteer opportunities in their area of interest. Teens may not yet know what they want to be when they grow up, but our program provides them with the opportunity to explore their interests, gain real -life experience, develop their networking and communication skills, and more!

Our Mission

Our Mission is to meet the demand for the next generation of talent by bridging the opportunity gaps; giving underserved youth a competitive advantage in today’s employment marketplace through youth camps, seminars, and programs focused on readiness and skills training, transitional employment, opportunity placement, mentorship, and career-specific education.

Our Vision

Our vision is that every teen has the opportunity to improve their work ethic, social skills, professional learning, and establish meaningful professional relationships that can manifest in the creation and earning of gainful employment in the competitive job marketplace.
